Gameplay
My mom is making me play this one. You can do math or reading lessons in Adapted Mind. I just do math. You just type in correct answers for math problems. You have a monster that nees to capture smaller monsters by answering math problems correctly. There a levels for 1st-6th grade, and they are working on adding 7th and 8th grade stuff. Each grade level has a ton of smaller catgories for math problems. Righ now my favorites have been the categories for integers. I have finished about 68% of the 6th grade math, whihc has about 170 small categories for the grade level!
This is all about education! That's the whole point of the game. It's a little bit like doing homework. This game is much more fun than doing homework though, because actual homework doesn't tell you what you did wrong. Adapted Mind tells you right away what you got wrong and how to fix it. The cartoon characters are cool too. You can also earn badges. I like earning badges because it makes me feel happy knowing I did something good.

There is no way to talk to other people, but you can click on "explain" and there will be a video to explain the lesson to you.
*Mom's note- there is a great format that allows parents to follow along with their child's progress in the program. Every week I also get an email from Adapted Mind about what Emily is successful with in the program, as well as what she might need help with. Teachers can also use this program to get individualized reports for their student's progress in the game.
